Full Moon Fiasco

We are staying on the Island of Koh Samui, and so to get to the full moon party Dan and I had booked speed boat transportation to the island(for a 9pm arrival time) where the full moon party happens every month. Our return boat ride was anytime we wanted as a return boat comes back every hour on the hour after 2am. However, Kirk decides to arrive for the good times and so i take him to the tour office to book his ticket, this is where we found out that all the speed boats are cancelled because of weather conditions and extreme waves and what not. So we decide to rebook and get our Full Moon Party on at like 3pm departure, and 7:30am return (regulary huge ferry departure times)

The ferry ride over was pretty interesting, we are walking up to the boat, Kirk mentions how packed the boat is out loud, and another full mooner tells kirk how a boat like this sank last year during a full moon run, and how 2 people died. The boat was just loaded with people, i mean the boat was packed, there was people in the isles, sitting and standing all over the place.

During the ride theres these huge waves and the boat is rocking back and forth and basically everyones saying how we are gonna die. You could see that when the boat swung to one side the windows which were open were like 1 foot from the water line. It was pretty crazy considering the boat was pretty big passenger ferry. Me and Kirk have a bet on how many people are going to throw up, i chose 2 and he went with 3, we were off by like 10+...

Me and Kirk are giving Dan tips on how to swim(the queer doesn't know how) Kirk was going with the classic doggy paddling technique demonstrating it for Danny, while i was giving him advice on how to just lean back and hope you float. I think he really appreciated the Tips.

I seriously thought the boat was going down but since i can swim and so can Kirk we were just hoping for the white squal to come by so that we could have a money story for Ndugu but alas that never occured.

Anyways upon arrival we discover the full moon party is pretty queer, the beaches were shut down at 8 and it was basically just a big street party lots of people drinking in the street, not what we expected at all. Later we find out that all the DJ's and Different groups that were supposed to be playing all along the beach and stuff were cancelled(weather and other reasons), so we got served big time.

Kirk was the only who really got drunk, as Dan has the Dengue fever and almost decided not to come to the full moon. But he choose to come and got served. We ended up sleeping outside at some outdoor restaurant that had closed down.

Got back to our beds at 9:30am but not before we hit BK for some J-Dubs.

Anyways we blame the whole full moon fiasco on Kirk(obviously) because if he hadn't shown up, me and dan would have gone to our pick up location for the speed boats at 8pm to find out that all the boats over had been cancelled and so missed the full moon party thinking how money it would have been.
